The Jogging & Trail de l'Hermeton event in Romedenne, Belgium attracted nearly 900 participants across three race categories. The highlight was the dramatic comeback in the 14km race (part of the Challenge Delhalle series): defending champion Romain Paul surged ahead in the final road section, overtaking trail specialist Damien Libert (who recently placed 17th in the Tour des Glaciers de la Vanoise) by 11 seconds, with Gilles Marchal taking third. In the women's division, Valentine Mathy led from start to finish to claim victory, followed closely by Hélène Dassy, while Anne-Sophie Demanet finished third, seven minutes behind.
The 33km trail race saw 179 finishers, with Philippe Stevens edging out Benjamin Pierre by just 14 seconds after a fierce battle, and Emilien Ventura securing third place. The women's podium featured Marie Honin, Ysabel Proost, and Anaïs Therer.
In the 6km short-distance race completed by 182 runners, Aurélien Van Arschot dominated the men's division ahead of Firmin Museux and Damien Rifflart, while Nina Steen, Karen Hamoir, and Julie Clément claimed top honors in the women's category. The organizing committee extended special thanks to over 500 volunteers and local government support, announcing the 12th edition will be held on July 11, 2026.
